After a brief winter break to finish some wine, do some bottling and a little vineyard maintenance, Retreat Hill Winery & Vineyard reopened the tasting room on January 30th, at 11 a.m. for the 2010 season. We will be tasting our 2008 Retreat Hill Riesling, which was bottled on January 23, 2010. It is a light, crisp dry white wine born of grapes from Washington State's Columbia Valley. The nose is fruity and flavors of green apple tease the palette. Although we are serving this wine in the tasting room, we can’t sell it just yet because we are still waiting on label approval. We are accepting pre-release orders until the release date of February 13, 2010. Shipping is FREE on all pre-sale orders of three or more bottles.
